Welcome to the basement scientist. This site was created to keep track of the various projects going on in my basement. I find sites like this invaluable when I’m starting my own projects, so after several years of reading other DIY blogs, I thought I might be at a point where I have something to contribute.
I’m mainly interested in electronics, but I also do a bit of woodworking and mechanical tinkering. Lately I’ve been focusing on guitar pedals, synths, and arcade machines. I’m a computer programmer by day, so you may see some occasional coding or technology related content as well.
